Dennis Stiltenpole Obituary

Dennis L. Stiltenpole, 64 of Ruffsdale, passed away peacefully, yet unexpectedly, Saturday morning, January 23, 2021 at his home.

He was born April 15, 1956 in Mt. Pleasant, the son of the late James A. and Charolette J. Hoyle Stiltenpole, who died November 29, 1987 and August 5, 2007 respectively.

Dennis was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War as a Wireman and attained the Rank of E3. He was a retired Commercial Painter for The Rocky Mountain Garage of New Stanton with 10 years service.

Dennis presently was a proud owner and enjoyed working and refurbishing his Mustang. Also, in his spare time, Dennis enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing his guitar.

Dennis’ wonderful life will be cherished in the lives of his family.

His loving and devoted wife of 45years, Pamela A. Byers Stiltenpole, whom he married April 23, 1975.

His caring Children:

Dean W. Stiltenpole and fiancé Diana Thomas of Ruffsdale

Penny Stiltenpole- McBeth and fiancé Joshua Black of Ruffsdale

His loving Sister:

LuAnn Huff and husband Dennis of Owensdale

And his Grand dog, Sadie

In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by:

His Brother, James A. Stiltenpole (Oct. 3,2018)

His Nephew, Brian Stiltenpole (June 5, 2016)

Dennis’ family cordially invite his family and friends Tuesday from 4PM – 8PM to the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, where his Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 11AM in the Funeral Home with Pastor David Lingsch, of the New Stanton Assembly of God Church, officiating.

Committal Services and Interment will follow in the Scottdale Cemetery.

The Scottdale and Everson VFW Honor Guard will conduct Military Honors, Tuesday at 7:30PM at the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that Memorials be made to family, thru the Kapr website under the Dennis Stiltenpole obituary by clicking the Donations tab at the top of the page.

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, masks are mandatory in the Funeral Home as well as Social Distancing.
