Daniel E. Wise, 67 passed away late Thursday evening, October 21, 2021 at Excela Health Hospital, Latrobe.
He was born February 8, 1954 in Mt. Pleasant, the son of the late Robert E. “Babe” and Nellie C. Sandzimier Wise, who died April 23, 1979 and October 28, 2002, respectively.
Danny was a graduate of Southmoreland High School Class of 1972 where he was a member of the track team. He also attended Allegheny Community College where he also participated on the Track Team. After college, Danny enjoyed going to track meets as a spectator and made many friends with the yearly teams at Southmoreland..
Danny then became very involved in the family restaurant, “Wises Restaurant” in Scottdale where he was involved in the day-to-day operations.
He was employed by Bartlett Nuclear, Plymouth, Mass. with 15 years of service.
He traveled often with his son, Logan to watch the trains in Lancaster and numerous local areas. Danny enjoyed listening to music, watching Westerns and old movies in his free time.
Danny loved everybody and he was loved in return.
Danny is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him,

Family and Friends are cordially invited to the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Pa. 15683 Wednesday from 2 PM to 8 P.M.
His Funeral Service will be held Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 11AM in the Funeral Home, with his Brother-in-Law, Larry LeGrande, as Facilitator.
Committal Services and interment will be held in St. John Parish Cemetery.
