Constance Ruth (Peterson) Overly

Constance Ruth Peterson Overly, 80 of Ruffsdale, passed away peacefully Saturday morning, February 25, 2023, in the comfort of her home with her beloved Husband, Dennis at her side.

Connie was born August 28, 1942, a daughter of the late Ralph A. and Thelma Grace Fulmer Peterson.

Connie was a longtime and faithful member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, South Huntingdon Twp.

She was a graduate of Yough High School, class of 1960 and was a former employee of Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant, as a Nursing Aide.  Connie loved to sing and dance and was known by many for her sparkling personality.

Connie’s beautiful life will forever be cherished in the heart of her loving Husband of 46 years, Dennis E. Overly, whom she married February 18, 1978.

Also surviving Connie are Denny’s family, His brother Ronald E. Overly of Westmoreland City and Domer F. Overly and his wife Debra who cared for Connie during her recent illness of Vanderbilt.

Family and Friends are cordially invited to the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc., 417 Pittsburgh St., Scottdale, Tuesday from 10 AM to Noon at which time her Funeral Service will begin with her Friend and Pastor, Thomas Shirer, Officiating.

Interment will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery, South Huntingdon Twp.
