Charlotte A. Eutsey, 72, of Upper Tyrone Twp., passed away peacefully at Westmoreland Hospital on February 18, 2026. She was born on December 16, 1953, in Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Daniel L. and Clara T. Zwierzelewski Hoyle. Charlotte lived a life characterized by thoughtfulness, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends.
Charlotte's early years in Mt. Pleasant laid the foundation for a lifetime of caring and service to others. After graduating from Southmoreland High School in 1972, she pursued her passion for helping others by studying nursing at Laurel Business Institute. Her career was marked by a 28-year tenure with L.E. Smith Glass, where she held various positions. Charlotte's nurturing spirit continued as she served as a bus driver with Quest Transit of Scottdale for eight years, and most notably, as a dedicated caregiver to her son, Craig, for 47 years.
She shared a beautiful and loving marriage with her husband, Kenneth G. Eutsey of Connellsville. Together, they created a family that was the center of Charlotte's world. She was a cherished mother to her sons, Todd Eutsey and his wife Brandi of Mt. Pleasant, and Craig Eutsey of Connellsville. Her role as a grandmother brought her immense joy, as she doted on her grandchildren, Austin Eutsey, Alex Eutsey, and Brooke Eutsey Stafford and her husband Joshua, all of Mt. Pleasant. Even her Grandpuppy, River, basked in her affection and care.
Charlotte's love extended to her brother, Daniel Hoyle, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant, her brother-in-law, Robert Eutsey of Connellsville, and her sister-in-law, Brenda and Jeff Johnson of Burgettstown. Her nieces and nephews—Austin Stants and wife Piper and their children Clara and Nova of Greensburg; Danielle Fontanazza and husband Dominic and their son, Enzo of Scottdale; Jeff King and Danielle Barko of Scottdale; and Michael King and wife Sheri of Scottdale.
In addition to her Parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by:
Her Sisters: Rev. Kimberly King (April 7,2020) and Diana L. Kaufman
Charlotte's zest for life was evident in her love for shopping, a pastime she enjoyed in all its forms, even when it came to cars. She found joy and relaxation in camping with her husband and family at Scottyland Campground of Rockwood, PA. Her mornings were not complete without her cherished tea, a ritual that provided calm and comfort at the start of each day.
To those who knew her, Charlotte was the epitome of love and thoughtfulness. She was a gentle soul who brought tranquility and kindness wherever she went. As a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
