Charles R. Clawson, 76 of Scottdale, passed away peacefully, Tuesday evening, December 15, 2020 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh while being comforted by his Wife and Daughter.
He was born April 11, 1944 in Ruffsdale, the son of the late Ray V. and Elizabeth M. Hiles Clawson.
Chuck was a member of Dawson Baptist Church.
He was a graduate of South Huntingdon High School Class of 1963. He was a self-employed Brick, Block and Stone Mason since 1964 until the present time.
Previously, Chuck was employed by Tillman-Rucker and also with Donald Parkhurst Construction. In his spare time, he enjoyed working for those in and around when he was free, he enjoyed going hunting.
Chuck was a loving Husband, Father and Brother to his family and a friend to all who knew him.
Chuck is gone from our lives, but will forever be in the hearts of those who knew and loved him,
His Loving and devoted wife of 52 years, Alverda F. Thomas Clawson, whom he married April 20, 1968,
His Daughter: Kimberly Clawson-Geary and husband Charles of Mt. Pleasant
His Brother: Raymond E. Clawson
His Sister: Linda J. Bibby and husband Robert all of Ruffsdale
And his bearded Collie, Andre’ his Furbaby.

Chuck’s family will have a Private Visitation, followed by his private Funeral Service, Sunday, in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St., Scottdale.
Interment will follow in Scottdale Cemetery.
