Carol A. (Jones) King

Carol A. King, known for her loving heart and gentle spirit, passed away peacefully, Sunday, November 2, 2025, at The Grove at Latrobe. Born on October 24, 1943, in Connellsville, Carol's life journey was marked by her spirited nature and an unwavering commitment to her family and faith. Carol's life was one of dedication and service, a testament to her character as she nurtured her family as a devoted homemaker. Her hands, always busy, created countless meals and baked goods that brought comfort and joy to those she loved. She was a graduate of Scottdale High School's class of 1961. Her unwavering faith was a guiding light, and she cherished her role as a longtime and faithful member of Owensdale United Methodist Church. Carol's legacy lives on through her beloved children: Darren J. King and Donald Bungard of Mt. Pleasant, Karen R. King and Mike Aaron of Owensdale, and Kenneth W. King of Owensdale. Her spirit is carried forward in the lives of her cherished grandchildren, James Smith and Christy of Owensdale, Kenneth King II, and Andrew King, and her adored great-grandchildren, Clyde and Nova Rae King, Kaiden and Kash John. Each of them reflects a piece of Carol's love, strength, and compassion, ensuring her influence will be felt for generations to come. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by, her husband, William R. King (Dec. 23,2019), her Grandson, Tyler King and his children, Korbyn, Keagan, Kinzleigh and Kyson (March 20, 2024). Family and Friends of Carol’s are cordially invited to the FRANK KAPR FUNERAL HOME, INC., 417 Pittsburgh Street, Scottdale, Wednesday, November 5, 2025 from 10AM – 12PM at which time her Funeral Service will be held at 12PM with Pastor Lee Maley, Officiating.
