Carol L. Dubnansky, 80, of Scottdale, passed away on Dec. 3, 2024. Carol was born on Jan. 4, 1944 in Donora and she was the daughter of the late Stanley Pieczarka and Elizabeth (Mikula) Noonan. She was a member of the first graduating class of the former Mon Valley Catholic High School in 1961. Prior to her retirement, Carol worked as a Program Assistant for 23 years with Valley Community Services in Mt. Pleasant and was Catholic by faith. Carol loved to do crossword puzzles, watch the Pittsburgh Steelers and cheer on her favorite team the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Carol is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law Laurie and James Connors of Greensburg; her granddaughter Jonalyn Dubnansky of Connellsville; two sisters, Geraldine Dusch and Judith Fitzpatrick, both of Bethel Park; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Jon C. Dubnansky and nieces Susan Dusch and Maureen (Fitzpatrick) Rhoades.
In honoring Carol’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14 at Holy Cross Parish in Youngwood.
Carol’s Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Pa. 15683.
