Bryce D. King

Bryce D. King, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2025, at the age of 77, in Scottdale, Pennsylvania. Born on June 28, 1948, in Connellsville, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Howard L. and Jane E. Jones King. He was a proud graduate of Southmoreland High School and continued his academic pursuits at Westminster College, where he earned an Associate's degree in Accounting. His passion for learning and serving others led him to the Methodist Theological School in Delaware, Ohio, where he furthered his education. He was an insurance agent for various places, most recently the Stewardship Group, Loughrey and King and DMA Insurance services. Bryce's dedication to his faith and community was evident in all his endeavors. In his leisure time, Bryce found joy in the intricate art of crocheting, a hobby that showcased his patience and attention to detail. He is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca Null King of Scottdale, with whom he shared countless cherished memories. His legacy of love and wisdom lives on through his daughter, Helen Raye King Desai, and her husband, Narayan of Oak Park, Illinois. Bryce's role as a grandfather was one of his greatest joys, and he doted on his grandchildren, Ivy Jane and Ogden Desai, with all the love in his heart. Bryce's sister, Lesley J. Kimble, and her husband, Derrick of Monroe Falls, Ohio, fondly remember their brother's enduring spirit and kindness. His nieces, Leah and Rachel, will forever cherish the memories of their uncle's unwavering support and guidance. Bryce’s family will greet friends on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 from 10AM – 12PM at which time his Funeral Service will take place in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Pa. 15683.
