Bernadette E. McClintock, 86 of Ruffsdale, passed away peacefully Monday afternoon, December 21, 2020 at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.
She was born in Everson, in 1934, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Pruzinsky Marhefka. She was preceded in death by her parents, six sisters, two brothers, and an infant daughter.
Bernadette was a graduate of the Scottdale High School Class of 1952, and attended nursing school. She is survived by her husband Donald, her loving children Mary, Cindy, and Rob (Christi) and many nieces and nephews.
Don and Bernadette were high school sweethearts, and were married for over 65 years. They did everything together, including motorcycling, boating, bicycling, square dancing and visiting most National Parks. They traveled extensively in the United States and Europe. Bernadette had a quiet, but adventurous spirit. She loved her family, gardening, flowers, cooking, reading, and her Catholic faith. She was a member of the Visitation Parish in Mount Pleasant, Pa.
Due to Covid-19 there will be no visitation. All family members are invited to a Funeral Mass at the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary R.C. Church at 11AM on Saturday, December 26, 2020. Bernadette’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 W. Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Pa. 15683.
Interment will follow in St. John Parish Cemetery, Scottdale.
Masks are required to enter the church as well as please use Social Distancing.
