Anthony G. “Rabbit” Glowacki, 83 of Rural Scottdale, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday afternoon, October 4, 2023, at Independence Health Frick Hospital Emergency Department, Mt. Pleasant. He was born December 30, 1939 in McClure, the son of the late Victor, Sr. and Violet Rowe Glowacki. Tony was a member of the Partner Parish of St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Scottdale, where he also graduated from Parochial School. Tony was a graduate of the former Scottdale High School, Class of 1959, where he excelled in High School Football. He retired May 6, 1999 from Anchor Hocking Glass Corp, Connellsville as a laborer with 40 years of service. Once retired, he then began working on the family farm. He was a former member of the Bullskin Twp Volunteer Fire Dept. Rabbit was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and a friend to all who knew him. Tony is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, His loving and devoted wife of 26 years, Dolores “Dolly” Pospisil Glowacki, whom he married November 9, 1996, His Children: George Glowacki and wife Marcy of Wooddale Mark Glowacki and wife Nancy of Connellsville Judy Porterfield and husband Roger of Berlin Joni Bassinger and husband Scott of Connellsville Robin Hall and husband Scott of Ruffsdale Bill Glowacki and wife Julie of Grindstone Gregory Bauer and wife Lori of Rural Scottdale His 20 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren His Brother: Victor Glowacki and wife Carol of Stahlstown His Sister: Barbara Harrison of Cleveland, OH.
