Virginia Manila Gillott

Virginia M. Gillott, 91 of Connellsville, (Bullskin Twp.) died late Wednesday evening, February 21, 2018 in Scottdale Manor and Rehabilitation Center, Scottdale.

She was born August 23, 1926 in Bullskin Twp. the daughter of the late Fuller and Frances Landy Gillott.

Virginia was a devout Catholic and a lifelong and faithful member of The Partner Parish of St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Scottdale.

She was a graduate of Connellsville High School Class of 1943. Following her Graduation, she enrolled and graduated from Mason and Frederick Beauty Salon, Uniontown.

She was part owner and operator of Virginia and Grace’s Beauty Shop, Mt. Pleasant,  for 46 years.

Virginia was a loving Sister and Aunt to her family.

Virginia is gone from our lives but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her,

Virginia’s family will greet friends in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Sunday from 2PM – 8PM. wherePrayers of Transfer will be held Monday at 10:30AM in the Funeral Home, with her Funeral Mass to follow at 11AM in The Partner Parish of St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Scottdale, with her Pastor, Rev. Andrew M. Kawecki, as Celebrant.

Committal Services and Interment will follow in St. John Parish Cemetery, Scottdale.

A Parish wake service will be held Sunday at 7:45PM in the Funeral Home.
