Roy Weaver Obituary
Roy K. Weaver, 72 of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Tuesday morning, February 06, 2018 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
He was born in October 8, 1945 in Mt. Pleasant, the son of the late Orin K. and Charlet R. Lentz Weaver.
Roy attended Connellsville High School and was employed by U.S. Steel, Christy Park with 21 years of service. He was also employed by AMO of New Alexandria as a Forklift Mechanic.
Roy was a longtime member of the Appalachian Wagon-train Association. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and his dog Ace.
Roy was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Brother to his family.
Roy is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him,
His loving and devoted wife, of 53 years, Beverly J. Helms Weaver of Mt. Pleasant whom he married November 23, 1965.

And his Canine Companion Ace

His Son in infancy: Brent Weaver (1971)
His Sister: Helen Angel (Aug. 29, 2009)
Roy’s family will greet friends in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale Friday from 2 – 4PM & 6 – 8PM. And Saturday from 9AM – 10:45AM at which time his Funeral Service and Committal Services will begin at 11AM with Pastor Scott Martin, Officiating, Pastor of Pleasant Valley Community Church.
