Linda Sue Froble

Linda Sue Knipple Froble, 67 of Scottdale, died Saturday afternoon, June 23, 2018, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, in the presence of her loving family.

She was born July 2, 1950 in Scottdale the daughter of the late and Wibur G. and Ida Jane Greenawalt Knipple.

Linda was a graduate of Southmoreland High School Class of 1968. Linda has been associated with her husband Dan and family, as office manager for the family business, Lyndan Designs, of Connellsville, since 1989.

She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Garden Club, the local Book Club and the Scottdale Elks, Lodge #777 Auxiliary.

Linda was a loving Wife, Mother and a devoted Grammy to her grandchildren and a friend to all she knew.

Linda is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her:

Her loving husband of 42 years, Daniel G. Froble, whom she married May 22, 1976,

Her Three Children:

Windy Jo Tuffs and her husband Ron of Greensburg

Indy Jo Price and her husband Mark

Zachary D. Froble and his wife Alex, all of Scottdale

Her Five Grandchildren whom she loved dearly:

Olivia and Sophia Price

Ian and Brandon Tuffs

And Zeke Froble

And a very special cousin, who was like a sister to her:

Cathy Greenawalt and her husband Frank of West Newton

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by:

Her Brother: Gerald Knipple

A gathering of family and friends will be held in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Sunday, July 1, from 4 PM to 7:30 PM., at which time a brief Memorial Service will begin.

A Celebration of Linda’s Life will continue, on her favorite Holiday, Wednesday, July 4, 2018, at her residence, beginning at 2PM.
