Lawrence E. “Larry” Ottenberg, 79 of Scottdale, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday morning, December 23, 2018 in Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville.
He was born May 5, 1939 in Connellsville, the son of the late Albert C. and Pelina B. Lynn Ottenberg.
Larry was a faithful and devoted member of the Connellsville Church of God.
He was a Graduate of East Huntingdon High School Class of 1958 and attended the Penn Technical Institute of Greensburg.
Following his high school graduation he enlisted and served in the U.S. Air Force, with the 310 Armt and Electrial Maint Sq, 310SWAG (SAC). He was awarded the Air Force Longevity Service Award, Good Conduct Medal and the 310th Bombardment Wing (SAC) attaining the Rank of A1C.
He was employed as a Electronic Technician for the Former Westinghouse and now Siemens with 35 years of service.
Larry is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him,
His loving and devoted wife of 54 years, Jane A. McBeth Ottenberg, whom he married October 10, 1964.

There will be no public visitation. In honoring Larry’s wishes, a Memorial Service will be held Sunday, January 20, 2019 at 4PM in the Connellsville Church of God, 126 Breakneck Ave., Connellsville, with his Pastor, Rev. Nelson Confer, Officiating.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held 1 hour prior to the Service.
Those who wish to remember Larry in a special way, may direct Memorials to the Connellsville Church of God, in his memory
