Janice L. (Franko) Jones

Janice L. Franko Jones, 48 of Connellsville, passed away suddenly, yet peacefully, Friday evening, April 27, 2018, of natural causes, in her sleep at  home.

Janice was born in Mt. Pleasant, November 11, 1969, a loving Daughter of Mary Elizabeth Madarish Franko of So. Connellsville and the late William Andrew Franko, who died January 18, 2011.

Janice was a member of New Beginnings Praise and Worship Center of Smock.  She was a Graduate of Southmoreland High School, Class of 1988. Following her graduation, she enrolled in the West Virginia Career Institute where she received a degree in Medical Billing.

Janice was presently employed as a Residential Aid for Passavant Memorial Homes,  Mt. Pleasant for the past three years.  Previously she had been an employee of Twin Trees, Inc. of Connellsville with 5 years service.

She was a loving and devoted wife, daughter, mother, grandmother and sister to her family.

In addition to her Mother, Mary E. Franko, of So. Connellsville, Janice will be missed by her family and all who knew her, especially:

Her loving husband of 27 years, Thomas Richard Jones, Sr., whom she married, June 15, 1990.

Janice will once again be reunited with her Father, William A. Franko (Jan 18, 2011)

Janice’s family will greet friends, Monday, April 30, 2018, in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh Street, Scottdale, from noon to 5 PM, the hour of her Funeral Service with Pastor Charles Bailey, Officiating.
