James E. Louis, 71, of Scottdale, died Thursday evening, July 5, 2018 in UPMC Family Hospice, Mt. Lebanon, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born February 24, 1947 in Canonsburg, the son of the late Alex and Alice Louis.
Jim was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving from March 24, 1966 – January 15, 1970 while attaining the rank of Sgt (E4).
He held various jobs including working in the Coal Mine, RCA, Volkswagon and lastly, retired from Williamshouse as an Envelope Adjuster Tech with 26 years of service.
Jim was also a member of the American Legion Post.
Jim is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him,

Jim’s family will greet friends in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale Tuesday from 2PM – 7PM at which time his Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Beagan, officiating of Charter Oak United Methodist Church.
Private interment will follow in West Alexander Cemetery.
