Betty J. Swartz Engle, 84, longtime resident of Mt. Pleasant, peacefully slept away, Saturday morning, January 13, 2018, while in the care of her Daughter, Tammy and Son-In-Law Franklin, at their residence in Mt. Pleasant.
She was born November 10, 1933, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of the late Donald M. and Edna Mae King Swartz. Who died Dec 22, 1992 and Oct. 29, 2010 respectively.
Betty was a lifelong, faithful member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Mt. Pleasant
She was a loving Mother to her Daughter and Son-In-Law, and her caring grandchildren were her life and inspiration. Betty loved animals and enjoyed being and playing with them at home.
Betty is gone from our lives but will forever be remembered by,
Her loving and devoted Daughter, Tammy B. Fosbrink, and her husband Franklin, of Mt. Pleasant, where she was residing.
Her three loving grandchildren:
Steven and Christopher Fosbrink
And Alexis Weimer and husband Chris, all of Mt. Pleasant
And her Sister,
Janet McKlveen, of Ellenton, Florida
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her Husband of 60 years,

Betty’s family will greet friends in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Tuesday, January 17, from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. and Wednesday from 9 to 9:45 AM at which time her Funeral Service will begin at 10 AM, with Pastor Brian Swan, Officiating.
Chapel Services and Interment will follow in Greenridge Memorial Park, Pennsville
