Angeline Zaffina Blackburn, 91, of Scottdale (Kingview), passed away peacefully, Sunday morning, September 2, 2018, in the caring presence of her loving family.
Angie was born in Scottdale, February 25, 1927, a Daughter to the late Francesco (Frank A.) and Frances S. Stella Zaffina, who passed away June 29, 1978 and July 23, 1992 respectively.
She was devoted to her faith and was a member of the Partner Parish of St. John The Baptist R.C. Church, Scottdale and also the Catholic Daughters Of Americas, Court Lambing #314.
Angie was a retired Selector for Anchor Hocking Glass Corp., So. Connellsville, with 40 years service and a member of the G.B.B.A. Local 136.
She was known to be an avid Bowler and a member of the Hillview Senior Women’s league, Greensburg and the Friday Senior League also at Hillview. She was also a member of Yough Bowling Lanes, Connellsville, where she belonged to the Section League. Angie bowled with her Leagues until January, 2018.
Angeline’s beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her family:

Family and Friends are cordially invited to the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc., 417 Pittsburgh Street, Scottdale, Tuesday from 2 – 4 PM and 6 – 8 PM., where parting Prayers will be recited Wednesday at 10:30 AM followed by her Funeral Mass at 11 AM in the Partner Parish of St. John the Baptist R. C. Church, Scottdale, where her Pastor, Rev. Andrew M. Kawecki is to Celebrate her Funeral Mass.
Committal Service and Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery.
Catholic Daughters of Americas, Court Lambing #314, will recite the Rosary at 1:45 PM Tuesday in the Funeral Home.
A Parish Wake Service will be held Tuesday at 7:45 PM in the Funeral Home.
