Funerals serve an important purpose: they allow us to recognize a life that was lived and acknowledge that the life has come to an end. Funerals exist for the living, for survivors who suffer the loss of a loved one. We understand that every family is different. Influences such as religious and cultural traditions, cost concerns and personal preferences make each funeral as unique as the person who is being honored.

This section of our web site provides an overview of the different types of services that we provide. Our funeral directors will work with you to put together a personalized package, and discuss the many options and details that make each of our services a personal, lasting tribute to your loved one.

Here are some of our Signature Services that we offer:

Balloon Release
Our Funeral Home will provide your family with a bouquet of environmentally safe balloons in the color of your choice. As the balloons slowly drift gently upward it leaves us with a memory that lasts a lifetime. Our staff will coordinate the balloon release to take place at anytime throughout the service. If you are interested in using this special memory maker, please let a staff member know.

Dove Release
As these beautiful doves fly into the sky with a burst of energy it reminds us of the soul’s ascent into the heaven, and the abundant life that blesses each one of us. The Dove Release is most meaningful for graveside services and also weddings or Memorial Services in the Frank Kapr Family Garden. Our staff would be more than happy to make the Dove Release a part of your meaningful ceremony.

Bag Piper Musician
Let the enchanting sound of the highland bagpipes be a presence at your funeral service. You may request that the bagpiper escort the casket from the funeral coach to the gravesite or that he play off in the distance before and after services. Arrangements may also be made for the bagpiper to play at chapel, church or memorial services.  Please contact our staff about adding a bag pipe musician to your funeral service.

Limousine Service
To ensure that the immediate family rides together, we offer limousine services to be used in the Funeral Procession. Please contact the staff if you are interested.

Camera
Living in the fast paced society, family gatherings don’t come as often as we would like. Unfortunately a funeral brings an entire family together that haven’t been for many years. By use of disposable cameras that we provide, memories can be preserved forever. These images will provide solace to you and your family for years to come.

Military Honors
“Would you like to honor a loved one in your family that was a Veteran? With Military Honors you can." Depending on the branch of service, we can offer that of: color guard, Taps, a gun salute or even pall bearers. We have contacts with all branches of the service to honor your loved one in the most appropriate way. In addition, we can apply for an American Flag and a Bronze Marker through the Veterans Administration as well as a Presidential Certificate honoring the life of your Veteran on behalf of a grateful nation.

Video Tribute/ Picture Board
Bringing special pictures to us of your loved one and family members we will arrange them on a magnetic board in a collage for all to see when they visit. Also, we have the electronic capabilities to design a memorial slideshow or video that will be displayed on a large flat screen television during visitation hours. Additional copies of the Tribute may be ordered following the service.

Casket Personalization
Not only do we have a wide variety of caskets to choose from, we also offer families a large selection of special design themes or embroidered panels to depict the life of their loved one. If your choice is cremation, we can also personalize your memorial service with the same options of a traditional funeral service with the exception of the casket. Small touches of personalization can create a beautiful memory!
